NorgesGruppen is excited to announce the launch of Trumf Pay, a mobile payment solution that allows customers to pay for groceries and earn Trumf bonuses in one seamless transaction. Available to Trumf members nationwide, this new solution will revolutionize the shopping experience at NorgesGruppen's grocery stores.
With Trumf Pay, customers no longer need to carry physical loyalty cards. They can now pay via mobile and automatically save their Trumf bonus at participating stores, including Kiwi, Spar, Meny, Joker, Nærbutikken, Jacobs, and CC Mat. From the start, 70% of Norwegian bank customers can access the service, with plans to expand to more banks over time.
Kristin Bigseth, General Manager of Trumf, shared her excitement:"We are thrilled to launch Trumf Pay. While it took time to meet all the necessary requirements, we have now created a solution that simplifies both identification and payment in one easy step—while also ensuring customers receive their bonuses."
The new Trumf app is available for download and is compatible with both manned and self-service checkouts at NorgesGruppen stores. By integrating BankAxept as the primary payment solution, Trumf Pay offers a cost-effective and secure method for mobile payments.
Odd Birkenes, Head of Value-Adding Services at NorgesGruppen, explained the strategic choice:"We chose BankAxept and AERA to support a Norwegian payment solution that not only simplifies the customer experience but also reduces costs for stores. This, in turn, helps us keep prices low for our customers."
To encourage Trumf members to adopt this new solution, NorgesGruppen is offering an extra 1% bonus for purchases made using Trumf Pay.
