Membership in the Nordic Initiative (“NI”) is reserved for Tier 1 Merchants operating in the Nordic region (“Members”).

NI shall facilitate knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and experience exchange to strengthen the collective capacity of Nordic Tier 1 Merchants with the objective to deliver better, faster, smarter and more cost-effective services to Nordic consumers.

NI exists to serve its Members and shall promote meaningful involvement and engagement through formal processes and bodies directly controlled by the Members.

NI can represent the interests of its Members in relevant discussions with other membership organizations and governmental authorities, particularly in European and international forums. Such representation shall expressly exclude commercial negotiations as well as any contentious matters.

In addition to formal structures, NI shall encourage informal dialogue and provide ongoing support and follow-up through its administration to foster effective cooperation among Members.
